The first board meeting of KIMS Oman Hospital, took place on 13/11/2009, 2.30 PM at Grand Hyatt Hotels, Muscat. Seven Board members and Special invitees attended the meeting.

Indian School, Muscat principal Achuthan Madhav was the first customer to get the card and a card was also presented to Baby Aisha, the first child born in the hospital and this KIMS Care card is here to transform patient services in Oman. The KIMS Care Card privileges are valid for 4 family members and it offers numerous benefits like Four free consultations with GP/ specialists/ Consultants, One free Annual Health check up for any members of the card, priority on appointments by phone, 15% discount of children’s immunization and even 15% discounts on all out-patient procedures. The card is valid throughout GCC and India at all KIMS group hospitals. The state of the art technologies and panel of renowned doctors that separate KIMS from other medical institutions will be even easier to access now, with the KIMS Care Card. This is yet another way of Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Oman, to continue spreading its mission of care with Courtesy, Compassion and Competence.
